Very nice photies there - like the middle one as I'll spend hours working out which way up it looks better (:D)
It's a fallen apple tree: it really looks like that. :)
The apple tree fell a year or two ago: the local gardener-man wants to chop it up... but it's alive and producing fruit. I say leave it while it lives!... He wants to make it into nice easy-fit fire wood. :D
